I started my medical journey at Gauhati Medical College, earning my MBBS in 1995, and later completed an MD in Anesthesiology from Delhi University. My training includes a Senior Residency at AIIMS, New Delhi, and roles as a lead anesthesiologist across hospitals in Canada. I bring a broad skill set, including labor analgesia, ICU management, and complex surgical anesthetics, always prioritizing patient safety and collaboration.
My dedication to teaching and research has led me to present at prestigious conferences worldwide. I believe chronic pain stems from complex brain chemistry, emphasizing the need for innovative approaches. With a distinguished academic background, including a fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital and an award for research in education, I have also served as a Staff Anesthesiologist with Alberta Health Services and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Alberta. Currently working as a Addiction Specialist in community setting, looking after inner city population. My journey reflects a commitment to improving patient care and advancing medical knowledge.

During my tenure as a Short Service Commissioned officer in the Indian Army Medical Corps, I served as a Captain and later as a Major, providing medical care under diverse and challenging conditions.
